Bodega Santa Catarina

Hey Guys,

the season is over and it's getting a little bit colder in Mallorca. So I want to start to tell you about all the things I did in summer. I explored the whole island and I didn't have a lot of time to write blog posts. But I will inspire you to book your holiday for the next season, or also for the winter season ;)

I start to present you the wine-grower of Santa Catarina. It is located between Andratx and Es Capdella. You can use both directions to drive to Santa Catarina. It is a very impressive location. The building is located between all it's vineyards and has a very old building. Inside it is a little bit like a museum with a really imposing entrance hall. You can make a wine tasting of all their vines. I can recommend you every vine of Santa Catarina but my absolutely favorite one is the Muscat of 2014. You can buy a small plate with cheese, jamon serrano, olives and bread to enjoy the vine tasting. You can have the tasting inside or also outside in the beautiful garden on the terrace. If you are there with a small group you can buy whole bottles and drink them directly on the terrace.

Santa Catarina is open the whole year, so it's also a perfect trip for the warm winter days. At the moment (November) we have around 20 degrees and it is the perfect weather to make trips.
