At the weekend I booked for 3 days the Turbopass Mallorca. With this Pass you have the opportunity to do a lot of activities on the island for free or with a discount. I chose only attractions which were for free. I had 3 really exciting days because I wanted to go to all the attractions for a long time. But if you pay for every single attraction it’s going to be very expensive. Turbopass solved this problem, because you pay a lower price if you book the Turbopass, compared to direct bookings of the attractions.

So let’s start with Day 1. I went with a friend to the Marineland in Puerto Portals. The location is amazing. When you see the Dolphin Show you look directly at the sea. I saw a few Dolphin show in Germany (yes we can discuss about the topic with Dolphins in a Zoo, I’m not a big fan of it) but I never saw such a nice show with Sea lions and Dolphins. The Dolphin Trainers acted with the animals in the water and they used perfect music for the whole show to make it even more spectacular. In the Marineland were not only Sea lions and Dolphins. There were a lot of animals like Flamingos, Turtles, a big aquarium area and much more animals. If you have nothing against Dolphin show I can really recommend you to visit this attraction.

DAY 2

The next day I went with a friend to Fantasia Golf in Palmanova. It is the most beautiful Minigolf area I’ve ever seen. We played one round and the Minigolf area is made with so many lovely details. Small streams are all over the area. The first whole is in a cave and some are on a small rock. Everywhere are beautiful plants. I’m sure I will go there again.

In the afternoon I went with my boyfriend to the Katmandu Park in Magaluf. I was there a few years ago, but I can’t even remember about all the attractions. In the pre-season month, they close at 6 pm so we had only two hours time to explore the Park. But I think it was quiet enough. We started with the attraction “The house - Journey into an upside-down world of mind-bending fun, where reality is an illusion and mythicals come to life!“ It is more for small kids but some rooms were also very funny for us. The next attraction was the „4D-Adventure -Scream through high-flying, near-miss 4D fun in four unique adventures!“ Next time I would go to the 5D experience recommended for kids older then 12 years old. After it we used the Minigolf area. The area is very similar to the one in Palmanova, as well they both belong to each other. The last attraction before the park closed was „Desperados - Saddle up for a galloping blast to save the day in this Wild West shoot-out!“ For me this was the most funny part of the park. You are in an Wild West film and you have to shoot with laser pistols in the film. At the end you can see the winner on the screen with a photo, so always smile ;)

This was a really touristic day made for kids. If you are on Mallorca with your family, I can really recommend the Fantasia Golf in Palmanova and the Katmandu Park. But it’s better if you spend more then two hours with your kids in the Katmandu Park.

Day 3

We woke up very early and I was very excited for the day. Because we went to Palma. I’m a few days per week in Palma but it’s different if you go to work or to university in Palma or if you see the city with the eyes of a tourist. We started with the Hop-on-Hop-off Bus at the Station Nr. 1 close to the cathedral (bring your headset with you, because the headsets of the bus are not really good). We drove through the whole city and the guide on the headset told us a lot about the history of the city. Do you know that there was a river through the Passeig del Born? You can choose the guide in the bus in 8 different languages. Our first stop was at the Castell Belver. We were there on Sunday and the entrance was for free, but if you go with the Turbopass on a normal day the entrance is also free for you. It was my first time in the Castell Belver and I was so impressed. I like to go to buildings like that because of the piece of architecture. The view from the top was just incredible. You can see the whole bay and as well the whole city of Palma with all the surrounding areas, like Son Vida or Genova. Then we continued our Tour with the Bus and finished again at the cathedral. I can recommend you to do the Bus trip not on a Sunday because a few museums and for example the cathedral is closed on a Sunday.

The next step on the Sunday was a one-hour boat trip through the Port of Palma. We drove through every part of the part. It was amazing to drive very close to the big cruises and to learn more about the private yachts in the port. But one hour was really enough, because the port is not so big that it makes fun a longer time.

The last and one of my favourite attractions with the Turbopass was the Palma Aquarium. I visited a lot of Aquariums in Germany but this is absolutely the best one I’ve ever visited. After a very stressful weekend this is a nice place to come down. In front of the big tanks were pillows to sit down and just feel the silence and peace of the sea and the animals. I nearly felt asleep because I was so relaxed. Because we paid nothing for the entrance we paid extra 7 Euros to drive with the Shark Vision Boat. It is a small glass bottom boat where you cross Europe’s biggest tank in an aquarium with sharks. The sharks were only a few centimetres away from us. It was a great experience.

All attractions we did on the weekend were for free with the Turbopass Mallorca. There are also other attractions where you get discounts but we chose only completely free attractions. The idea of the pass is really great, because it gives you so many ideas where to spend your time on holiday. You can book this pass for different amount of days. You can also book only one day till seven days. I think two or three days are the best amount of days to explore the island. Also we chose only attractions in the south-west of Mallorca or in Palma, but with the Turbopass you can choose attractions all over the island. For example, the caves in Porto Cristo, or a Wine Tour in Binissalem. If you book the ticket you just need to print the ticket once, or you can also have the QR Code on your phone and show it at the entrance of the attraction. You don’t have to choose an exact date. If you book it for example now for three days. The three days will start when you activate the pass on the first attraction.

Book your Turbopass for your next trip on Mallorca.
